A suspected COVID-19 infected patient visited Canossa Hospital on 5th March, 1030am. The patient then attended Ruttonjee Hospital where he was tested positive for COVID-19 virus on 6th March.
The patient visited our hospital for less than 10 minutes. The patient was promptly separated to isolation room because of fever; during which no medical procedure was performed. Besides our medical staff, the patient did not have any contact with other patients. Due to the patient’s traveling history and fever, the patient was recommended to visit public hospital. Terminal environmental disinfection was performed according to the guidelines of the Department of Health.
